QuiltIn return, residents of Palatine created a crazy quilt to give to Fontenay-le-Comte.
The quilters of this fabulous piece of art are:
Dottie Bornarth, Vivian Maynard, Marilee Minott, Marsha Clark, Marilyn Pedersen of the Palatine Historical Society, Helen Moore, Anne Levin, Marg Duer, Susan Minott, Karen Webb. A group of quilters from Palatine’s Senior Center created the borders for this quilt.
The quilts were exchanged on March 31, 2001.
Sister Cities Association of Palatine has notecards depicting these two fine quilts. If you'd like to get some, please call 847.963.6450 and leave your order on the voice mail. We also carry them in our booth at the Palatine French Farmers Market.
